Celebrate Tourist Day in Ibiza

dia del turista ibiza

For the past 30 years, several towns and villages in Ibiza have been celebrating Tourist Day every third Thursday of September. This event is to show the islanders’ gratefulness to loyal travellers who chose the island as their holiday destination. This year, Tourist Day falls on the 21st, but there will be free activities until the 24th. If you’ll be staying in Ibiza during those dates, check out the programme and join the celebrations.

Free boat trip to Es Vedrà

Although September 21st is the actual Tourist Day, on September 22nd you will also find many interesting activities, including a free boat trip to Es Vedrà on our Ulises I catamaran and organized by the Town Council of Sant Josep. The outing starts at 12:15h from the pier on d’en Bossa beach and any tourists can join us for free until the boat is full (250 people). If you are near Sant Antonio, you can join the outing to Es Vedrà offered by our partner Capitán Nemo at 12:00h that same day for a total 150 passengers. To avoid overbookings, you may book a free ticket by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Walks for the restless

The Town Council of Sant Joan de Labritja celebrates Tourist Day by highlighting one of its most appealing features: Hiking trails. To do so, they have organized three circular guided walks that go past Portinatx (September 21st), the Moscarter lighthouse (September 22nd) and the Culleram cave (September 23rd). To book a place, call the town’s tourist office (Phone: 971 333 075).
