Ibiza in 5 sunsets
For sure you already know you must not miss the well-known sunsets in Ibiza. But probably you don’t know exactly where to go to enjoy the most spectacular ones. In that case, please take note of this selection, where the landscape and the atmosphere play a main role. The finishing touch, as always, is up to the sun and the clouds.
This beautiful virgin cove is located northwest Ibiza and it has become very famous because of its drums party, which is celebrated every Sunday at dusk. This singular music event attracts many people in July and August, so if a calmer plan is preferred, maybe it’s better to go any other day of the week.
You will like it because… Of the Cap Bernat islet, which characteristic profile is specially remarked at dusk.
Platjes de Comte
This set of little coves is always among the most favorites for the voyagers. And not only for its spectacular turquoise colored waters, but also for being one of the best corners in the west coast where to enjoy the sunset.
You will like it because… On the horizon, at closer level, you will find the Conillera and S’illa des Bosc islets. And at further level, the Ses Bledes islets.
The ponds that spread over Ses Salines Nature Park offer to you one of the most beautiful sunsets in Ibiza. The salted water which they contain reflects all the lovely dusk colors. You can enjoy them from the garden at Bar San Francisco or walking near the channels between the salt evaporation ponds.
You will like it because… The scenery gives you a sunset completely different from the rest.
Cala de Bou
This area of Portmany bay has a very good panoramic over the sunset and Conillera islet. You can walk by the shore and sit down on a rock just to enjoy the dusk as you prefer, and far away from the crowds.
You will (also) like it if… you want to toast for the sunset with a mojito and maybe even stay longer to take dinner by the sea. If that is the case, don’t make any plans for the night time and go directly to Khumaras. You will come back for sure!
This is the most famous sunset location around the island. In this part of the Sant Antoni seafront you can find Café Mambo and Café del Mar, two musical icons in the island. Here, the sunset has a soundtrack, so if you are looking for silence, maybe it’s better if you go to the near cape Cap Negret.
You would like it if… the multitudes don’t disturb you, because during high season this part of the seafront is really plenty of visitors.
