Here you have restaurants, nice corners, cafeterias and other locations in Formentera which you should include in your travelogue. These are useful proposals either you visit the island just for one day or you want to hide from the world for a longer time.

 1. Es Caló

This is one of the best seafood restaurants in the island. Located in Es Caló de Sant Agustí, by the sea, among its specialties you will find all kinds of rice and the stew of lobster. Tel.: 971 327 311 Web

2. Estany Pudent

This lagoon is located between La Savina and Es Pujols, and it’s a very recommendable spot for walking at dusk and for bird watching. You can continue this walk down to the nearby salt marshes, which are a cultural heritage in Formentera.

 3. The big fig tree

When driving along the road which goes from Sant Ferran to La Mola, take attention at kilometer 9 and you will see one of the most singular fig trees in the island. Its vast treetop is underpinned by 200 props.

4. Gran Ibérico

Located in the center of Es Pujols, beside Rosales Hostel, it has become very famous because of its Iberian ham sandwiches, served in toasted bread with spread tomato sauce. Avenida de Miramar s/n

5. Café Matinal

If you pass through Sant Francesc and you haven’t taken breakfast yet, please stop in this cafe and enjoy their tasty breakfasts, hundred percent homemade, including yoghourts and pastries also made by them. Arxiduc Lluis Salvador, 18.

 6. Fonda Pepe

In Sant Ferran de Ses Roques you can find this emblematic meeting place. They always serve homemade food, but they are really famous for it's "hierbas" (aromatic herbs liquour). C/Major, 55.

 7. Blue Bar

Located in Migjorn beach, this beach bar is a classic one, a place where you can contemplate the sunset, or where you can have dinner outdoors while you listen to the sound of the sea. Web

8. Es Mola Flea Market

This interesting flea market takes place in Pilar de La Mola on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, and everything which is exposed is original, handmade and, mostly, inspired by the island.

9.Punta de Sa Pedrera

Following the northwest coast by the green route of Sa Pedrera, we arrive at Punta Pedrera, an old quarry where the rocks appear with whimsical shapes, and create natural swimming-pools.

10. Pinatar

If you want to taste traditional homemade cooking, you just have to get to this welcoming restaurant in Es Pujols. We recommend you fried octopus, squid “a la bruta”, and “bullit de peix”, a tasteful fish and rice especiality. Web
